Wireless card sees network, but asks for password repeatedly

I just installed Linux Mint 14 Xfce on a Dell XPS 400. I'm using a Belkin F5D8010 wireless card. I got the .inf file from the Belkin website and installed it using the graphical ndiswrapper tool. The computer recognizes my network, but it can't connect. It asks for the password repeatedly. The password is correct.

What can I do to connect to my network?

Hello,
I am having the same issue with Mint 9.
The Belkin F5D8053 v3000 is recognized and displays all the available networks but it can't connect to any of them.
I have used the same wireless USB adapter with Windows 7 and it can connect to my wifi router. The problem comes from Mint 9 but I have no idea how to go about it.

Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

The solution is to blacklist rt2800usb.
Now I am able to connect to my wireless router.
