Huion H610 pen tablet issues

Hi! I'm new to linux mint. I'm using the 64 bit version with cinnamon. When I tried to get my Huion H610 tablet working it didn't work as expected. It would produce random button presses and jump to and from the sides of the screen. The tablet itself is this http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/digimend/index.php?title=UC-Logic_Tablet_TWHA60 model but with another vendor code. I tried updating the kernel to 3.7, and that made the buttons work properly, but the cursor wouldn't move at all. The tablet works fine in windows 7 so there's nothing wrong with it. I broke my linux mint install trying to get rid of 3.7 so I'll try again tomorrow, but is there any way to get this tablet to work with linux mint? Thanks.

You might want to try the WizardPen driver. That may get the pen working.

If it really is equivalent to the UC-LOGIC (you're the second person I've seen claiming that despite a different VID and PID in lsusb) then the 3.7 kernel should have done the trick: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/d ... ort_status Perhaps because the X Server wasn't updated also?

I'm not completely sure, but that was the tablet that looked the most like the one I've got. I don't know how to update the x-server and if the tablet would have worked then, but it works fine now anyway.

Yes but it is a bit tricky. It is a Qt bug, Qt doesn't handle the evdev driver correctly. See the bug report linked in: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/d ... p_in_Krita
