Post by Bosnmark »

Hey guys... I'm new to Linux and am in need of some assistance. Both the Wireless and Wired connections dont work on my pc with mint 14, yet it works fine in windows 8. I've looked through a few sources and ran a few commands.

bismark@bismark-h8-1420t ~ $ inxi -N
Network: Card-1: Ralink Device 3290 driver: rt2860
Card-2: Atheros AR8161 Gigabit Ethernet
bismark@bismark-h8-1420t ~ $ sudo /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py

From what I see, Both Wired and Wireless hardware are detected.
It also seems you have some sort of wired connection as your IP is 192.168.117.2
