Cinnamon in LM14 64-bit hogs memory
I am regularly seeing Cinnamon eat up between 300 and 900 MBytes of RAM—as reported by gnome-system-monitor. Is anyone else seeing this? Taken together with the keyboard shortcut bug that nobody seems to feel responsible for solving, this just made me switch back to the MATE edition.

Re: Cinnamon in LM14 64-bit hogs memory
I'm seeing cinnamon in system monitor taking up 815mb right now. It gets to a point where the system almost becomes unusable and it appears that cinnamon is the culprit. Any ideas on how to fix would be amazing!

So it is. The issue has already been reported for LM13, but, although a number of people have confirmed it, this has neither been officially recognized as a bug nor been assigned to someone for fixing.
So please weigh in on that thread if you are seeing this too.
