I'm running Mint 14 (Nadia) (64-bit) with Cinnamon. I right-clicked a couple of items in the menu and added them to the bottom panel. At first it worked fine, then i did some minor editting of the panel, moved a few items around a bit, then Add To Panel stopped working. In fact, a few icons I liked disappeared and now I cannot re-add them. I did not install "Docky" to the best of my knowledge, whatever Docky is.
If a reader of this question does not have a solution, could you at least point me to the files that are involved? Maybe I can edit them manually. Or can you tell me what the equivalent command in a terminal session would be? Then I could read the error messages.
I'm not trying to add applets, I know how to do that, I'm trying to add applications from the internet menu such as Firefox or Thunderbird, or even just a Terminal icon to open up a terminal.
Thanks for any help.
