Customizing the main MATE menu

Hi all,

I have problem with the mintMenu. Sometimes at the login, it refuse to load ...
So I use the main MATE menu, which work without problem.
Do you know how can I customize it for all my users ?

I am on Linux Mint 14.

The MintMenu is slow to load, sometimes up to 10-14secs, but it does load. As far as customizing the other menus, not sure if you can, I'd say you couldn't.
One other option is to use gnomenu. Can't remember where I got so you could Google.
