Missing menu panel

Postby forzajuve on Sun Jan 27, 2013 4:15 pm

I just installed Linux Mint 14 (Cinnamon) in VirtualBox as a guest OS and everything is working great except that the menu panel is missing unless I run the session in Gnome Classic. My host OS is Windows 7 and am using a Lenovo T520 with an NVIDIA graphics card. I tried searching for solutions but so far came up with nothing.

How could I get the menu panel to function properly and show up?

Thanks in advance

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
