after update, wifi only work after run mintWifi.py

Post by KammutierSpule »

After I update to mint 14 (KDE), only running
sudo /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintWifi/mintWifi.py

will make wifi internet work.

It can connect to the wireless spot, but cannot open any URL... I think its dclient problem...

how could I fix this issue?

Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service smbd reload

Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the reload(8) utility, e.g. reload smbd
