How to rearrange window buttons when using Compiz?
I'm using Compiz and trying to place the "close" button opposite the min/max buttons; this is easy enough when just using marco, but with compiz running nothing I enter in configuration editor has any effect, even though the fonts settings right below it do take effect, so I think I'm in the right place ... using Mint 14 / MATE

I'm not agree. Compiz 0.9.4 works like always in Mate. I think it has trouble in Cinnamon due its gnome 3.x version. However, If you have a newer version of Compiz, you have to downgrade it to the 0.9.4
