Cant install 32-bit Xfce...

Post by indispus »

I have a Acer Aspire One ZG5 with 8GB SSD (soon to upgrade to 16GB) & 1.5GB RAM. I have tried out 32-bit Mint 14 Cinnamon, Mate, KDE... I settled on Cinnamon, which runs very nicely and I am very happy with it. The other night I got the itch to try the Xfce version so...downloaded. Installed today via ilve USB as usual and live booted. When I decided to install it to the hard drive to check out how it would run fully installed, when it got to where it was formatting the internal SSD... it halts and says could not create partition? The only way out it to reboot again... but everytime I go in install, I get the same error. Never had this issue with any of the other 32-bit distros. I had to back out and re-install Cinnamon which is what im currently running.

Any help guys? Thanks again.
