Alt+F1 shortcut to open run applications dialog box does not work for linux mint.How can i create keyboard shortcut to see run applications dialog box ? I want to see that dialog when i make a shortcut.

In Cinnamon the setting is found at Keyboard>Shortcuts Tab>System>Show the run command prompt. Which should be set to Alt+F2.
In Mate I don't know.
You didn't say which you are using.
