kde power management

Postby Trio3b on Sun Feb 03, 2013 12:51 am

Testing LM 13 KDE on several laptops.

Perused the first 7 search pages regarding power management but all about sleep, lid closing, suspend , problems after hibernation, or where to find power management.,etc

I just want the PC to shutdown at critical battery %. I know where to find PM in the tray or in system settings but all I get is a warning. System keeps running.
Older versions of KDE PM in PCLOS 92010.xx) obeyed. Newer versions (pclos 2012.xx) do not. Neither in LM 13 KDE .

Went to advanced settings in KDE PM and selected option to shutdown when battery critical. Also created new default profile but same issue. Warning but no shut down. Has something been changed?

Am I missing something.?
