Can not install driver AMD on radeon hd 7670m + intel graph

I couldnt install AMD driver and by GUI, and by terminal.
After reboot gnome 2 classic enables.

What can help in this?

- you don't give any kind of information: mint release? what have you exactly tried? what kind of setup you have?

even with all that i believe it's very hard to make an amd+intel work properly. can you disable the amd card in the bios?

I use Mint 14.1 64 bit with Cinnamon DE, I tried install AMD drivers automatically by GUI in SoftwareSources Menu, and by terminal by this manual:

I install Mint on second partition. Dualboot.

And yet one important thing more: on AMD official website I use driver search, and I toke this link:

So, there is compatible linux driver only for x86 edition?

you have the intel card fully recognized and working as it should.

my question is:
do you need the amd card? trying to make it work will most certainly break your system and you'll gain very little in openGL power;
there isn't a straightforward guide to make this setup work and furthermore you will be always hostage of amd updates (or lack of);
it's your call but at the moment you have a working system (with a powerful gpu); unless there's a compulsory reason to make the amd card work i would leave it as-is.

Yes, I need this. I want to use powerfull AMD GPU to let my little brother play realistic modern games using steam.
Intel graph core is very week. I even coldn't play normally in minecraft on full hd monitor.

OK, I try:
1. resolve problem with GRUB (gruv customizer dont see a work entry for boot);
2. install 32bit version and try 2 install official driver from site;
3. use this manual

Must be a bug in AMD's driver then, since modern hybrid systems are normally fully supported by AMD (as opposed to NVIDIA). I guess you can't do anything but wait for an AMD driver update to fix this problem.

There is an unofficial bugtracker at http://ati.cchtml.com/. AMD does not have another bug tracker for their graphics drivers.

Also, it seems to me that the laptop brand & model is not mentioned yet in this (long) topic.
