Hello to all! I am new to the GNU/Linux world and have been using Mint for about a month. Thus far I am enjoying it immensely. I was a CP/M user back in the early 1980s and for me Mint has rekindled some of the spirit and fun of those early days. I have a steep learning curve to climb but I am confident that I can do it with the help of this great community. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Linux Mint :D You don't need to, but if you want to become a little more familiar with the command line then this is a good guide:
