Evolution - duplicate inboxes

Post by JerryW »

After a seamless move from Isadora to Maya, I find that Evolution has duplicate mail boxes.
One at: "on this computer"
and the other at: "myname@localhost"

I find I can delete folders in the 2ND mailbox w/o impacting the ones at "on this computer", but this is scarey territory.
Two questions:
1) How did this happen (did I do something?)
2) How to fix?

It's probably not entirely kosher to respond to ones original post!

I found the problem...somehow in the Evolution setup, that 2ND, identical account was created.
I simply deleted that account and all is well.

I am using Evolution on a domain at this moment. Not sure if this is your situation. As I look at the window, I can confirm that there is only 1 mailbox needed. The one that I use is under 'name@domain'. I have no mailbox under 'On this computer'
