Hi
I installed Mint 14 64bit a couple of weeks ago. However since then I've been getting the error message "Language en_GB does not exist; using system default" following boot.
My etc/default/locale file contains:
LANG="en_GB.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_GB:en"
which seems what I want.
Can anyone help point to what is missing! I've tried reinstalling the "en" language packs through the package manager but this hasn't helped.
Thanks
Mintbadger

You need to change your default language settings at the login page, before you log in.
I found this in the Linux Format magazine forums and it solved the problem for me
