Hi All,
Registered Indian users of Linux Mint is ~ 650, fourth-largest user base for Mint. I am just wondering why there are no dedicated mirror sites for India.
I saw a related thread in forum but not sure whether there was any progress.
I request Indian users who are well-connected and influential in academic circles / other open source supportive software companies to come forward to help on this.
Update - Apologies, i realized there is secondary download mirror set up for ISO packages. But do we have mirror for other software packages?
Thanks,
Anand R

Re: Mirror for India
would you be able to get a mirror from Optus, - which is Australian based ?.
or even through Singapore ?.

Re: Mirror for India
Apologies - Not sure of your question. I was of the opinion that having a Mirror site locally set up in India will help the download rate?
