Steam for Linux (SOLVED)
hi, I was wondering if anyone has triied the linux Steam client? I understand its supposed to be in the repossiaries but i cant seem to find the program. Has it been removed?

Im still confused tdockery97! I see people talking about the Steam client... I dont mean through wine, I mean the native client that is supposed to be in the "Ubuntu software center". I have gone through the Mint software manager and synaptic package manager and cant find anything. Dont we have the same packages as Ubuntu?

Steam is not yet in Ubuntu's main repository. Meanwhile you can just download the DEB file from the Steam website and install it. That works very well on Mint 13 or 14.
