Hey all,
Running Mint 14 on Acer Aspire S3.
I'd noticed that my battery was always dead after coming back to it after a suspend. I've since noticed that after a period of time sleeping (I'm not sure how long) the computer wakes itself up with the lid closed.
I've searched around and no one else seems to have this problem so wondered if anyone else has any ideas?
Thanks in advance for the help

Do you have a mouse plugged in and a cat around?
Seriously though, take a look at your logs and see what is waking it up. If you have a USB mouse plugged in, unplug it and see if it wakes up again. Make sure WOL is off (Wake On LAN) and that there are no timers running.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a mouse plugged in, but I do have a cat....hmm.
Assuming he's not responsible, which log should I be looking in and for what? (Still a bit new to this)
Thanks
