Logitech 325 wireless mouse not recognized

Postby YeeP on Fri Feb 22, 2013 11:39 am

Mint Cinnamon 14.1

I have a brand new machine and believe that is the cause. I have an older, 32 bit machine, running the exact OS (except that is a 32 bit and this is a 64) that recognizes this mouse just fine.

Does anyone have ideas as to what I can run on the machine to find out the possible drivers that I need?

FYI, the dongle is plugged in to a USB 2.0 port, and the machine does recognize other product plugged into both a USB 2.0 or the USB 3.0 ports.

Thanks!

I have a m525 that is recognized just fine on my 64 bit system. Give us the output of lsusb instead of lspci. Both with and without the dongle.
EDIT: Are you sure the mouse works? The first 525 I got was DOA.

Yes, I am sure the mouse works. This is the one that I have been using with Mint for at least 3 years with my older machine. If I log out and back into w*ndows it works. I also use a little machine with Lubuntu on it when I am trying to figure out these problems, and I transfer the mouse to it without a problem.

Thank you for the idea, as soon as I get home from work, I will give this a shot. With and without the dongle in the port...
