Grub Stalls Out On Window?

Post by plowran »

Hi Everyone;
I am using Mint 4 KDE and when I did the live install I had to manually partition the disk as I wanted.
Now that its all installed, Linux is my Default and boots just fine, but when I go down to load Windows XP a few GRUB commands pop up and then
its just stalls with those commands on the screen...
Does anyone know what I need to do in terminal to fix this error?
Later Phil

plowran,

The first thing I would need to help you is a look at your partition table. Open gparted, it is in your menu, and post a screen shot of your partitions.

Fred

EDIT: While you are at it copy your /boot/grub/menu.lst file and post it also.

Hi Everyone;
I am having a slight problem with my installation. I installed Mint 4 KDE and Manually Partitioned my drive before the install.
Now when I goto choose Windows XP to boot this is what I get...

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks

plowran,

As I said in my first post, I need some information from you before I can help you. If you will post it for me, it is quite possible we can fix it fairly easily. Without it I can't really help you.
