USB3.0 pci device install

Postby Dadzmad on Sun Feb 24, 2013 3:22 pm

I got a device that fits in a floppy drive bay that provides several USB3.0 ports and a handful of card reader slots. I has a power connector like drive, a usb to m-board connector and a pci express connector. When I hooked it up and booted up I got a "failed to enable MSI-X" message at initial boot. I am on an updated LMDE system running Linux 3.2.0-4amd64. Is there a solution at this time or should I wait patiently for the upgrade to the 3.3 kernel to come along with the upcoming LMDE normal updates.
