mocp not showing or playing m4a files...

Postby wannabegeek on Thu Feb 28, 2013 2:33 pm

hi all...

I just downloaded some m4a audio files which play fine with mplayer...however when I try to use moc
the same files don't even show up...

I did some googling and see that there has been a problem in the past but I didn't see a solution.

Code: Select all
dpkg -l | grep aac

Code: Select all
ii  libaacs0                               0.3.0-4                                 free-and-libre implementation of AACS
ii  libfaac0                               1.28-0ubuntu2                           AAC audio encoder (library)
ii  libvo-aacenc0                          0.1.1-2                                 VisualOn AAC encoder library
ii  xserver-xorg-video-ati                 1:6.14.99~git20111219.aacbd629-0ubuntu2 X.Org X server -- AMD/ATI display driver wrapper
ii  xserver-xorg-video-radeon              1:6.14.99~git20111219.aacbd629-0ubuntu2 X.Org X server -- AMD/ATI Radeon display driver

Am I missing an FFmpeg library ...?
