Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Hello, your videos are awesome! Congratulations for your effort and your contribution.
How does this video above differentiates if instead of Windows XP, I have Windows 8 pre-installed. When double clicking on Linux Mint Installation I get some extra partitions (150MB , 1MB etc.).
Are they of any use or I can just delete them and proceed with the tutorial according to your video, or need I do something else?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the complements. I have no experience of windows 8. You need to post/search on the install & Boot section. Windows 8 machines come preloaded with trouble built in for linux, with efi /bios booting.

Basically I think you need to switch to legacy = bios booting which will allow you to install grub. The install should be the same as the windows7 install but as I said - You need to post/search on the install & Boot section.
