I never use VLC so I thought of completely removing VLC from KDE. Have tried removing VLC via terminal with the "sudo apt-get purge vlc" but it only remove vlc and still leaving vlc-data. I thought I can safely remove or purge vlc-data too but am surprised to know that purging vlc-data will also removing "mint-meta-codecs-kde" and "mint-meta-kde". Shouldn't they make removing vlc-data as a seperate from KDE ?
- Code: Select all
$ sudo apt-get purge vlc-data
[sudo] password for athlon :
