removing Nvidia Drivers?

Hi,

I installed a nvidia driver which i downloaded from nvidia, but now i want to remove it and use the one in "additional drivers" instead. could someone please teach me how to do so? i have done my research but haven't been able to find anything... :(

You'd do it just like you were installing it, except you use the --uninstall flag. e.g.

sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-xxx.xx.run --uninstall

Be sure to go into /etc/X11 to remove xorg.conf and restore the old xorg.conf.backup. From there you can reboot and you should be set.
