I can not find the program I have installed on LiveUSB

Hi,
I have installed a thing called " Nvidia setting ( tool for configuring the nvidia graphics drivers)" from Software Manager on Live USB. Am I supposed to find it on Menu or Desktop? I used application finder .it doesnt work .Isnt what I downloaded a program ? what is tool ?help please

May not have been installed. You need to install it with Package Manager open the app Synaptic Package Manager and search for the program. You may even have to add a respository to locate it. But on mine Mint 14 Nadia it's there atleast 4 packages are there. Just check them and click Apply.
