Problems after system update on Mint 13 XFCE
I just installed a Mint Update about 10 minutes ago (about 14 packages) and immediately after Banshee stopped working so I restarted my computer and now Banshee won't play any music and all windows are missing their buttons in the upper left hand corner to minimize, maximize, and close the window. Help??! I'm running Mint 13 XFCE 86 on an HP HDX 16.

Also I can't type anything into "Run Program" or "Terminal Emulator" and if I paste something into "Terminal Emulator" nothing happens when I press enter, like it doesn't recognize the keyboard.

Does following this thread's advice take care of your problem? It appears that, for whatever reason, your window manager just stopped working.
