New to Mint

Postby ortrigger on Thu Mar 14, 2013 9:11 pm

Hey all, I've been a Linux guy for a while now. I just barely started using Linux Mint though. I've been on Ubuntu for quite a while and it was good but I was getting tired of Unity. My laptop is a little finicky with some of it's drivers so some of the other distros I tried were a no-go. Mint has been running nicely and I'm looking forward to using it for a long time to come.

I'm using Cinnamon. I thought about xfce but Cinnamon looked nicer to me after trying them both out in a VB. I got a nice conky set up yesterday too. 8)
