I've noticed a strange thing (strange after using Windows, of course) - there is a login option (with my PC name) when I go to shutdown or reboot.
It just stays there for a couple of seconds and then the process itself starts first by printing "caught singal...", followed by the rest thereafter.
What is that supposed to be and how do I change that to 'normal' shutdown or reboot?

Just to clarify further, it asks me to login into a tty terminal.
Quite odd, compared to Windows
But, off topic, I have to say, the system itself is infinetely more responsive, RAM usage is 3 to 4 times lower.
I am absolutely amazed because I've never used any Linux distro before Mint.
