LinSSID won't work properly?

Postby darkstrike on Sun Mar 31, 2013 10:49 pm

Hi all!

I just installed LinSSID as I miss having a program like inSSIDer on my netbook for checking out WiFi networks. I'm running Mint 14 XFCE and the .deb package for it installed fine. The program also starts up just fine. However, when I click run, type in my account password and then click enter to submit it, the program seems to instantly crash and close....no idea why...no error messages, no nothing - it just simply closes.

I was told to run an strace on it, but was given no further help than that. The strace ends in showing me a segmentation fault when LinSSID crashes, but I have no idea how to solve it...?

Thanks for any assistance! :)
