i know this is in no way linux related but I'd like to discuss this matter with the community.
As most of you facebook users probably know, facebook has a feature that can mark places where you have been on a zoomable worldmap.
I like to travel and for me this feature was a neat way for showing my friends locations where I have been to.
I know that any personal data isn't save with fb, but I don't see a big threat if someone reveals where I have visited in the past.
Now since the "cronic" was modified again just recently, it seems that there's no way to delete any of the map markings anymore.
It used to be very easy to delete and modify any location, by just clicking the place marker and select "delete", "edit"
Am I just to blindsighted in the haystack of facebook pages, or is it true that users don't have the power anymore of what's in ther personal content?
I'm writing this because if I'm right and all our fb-maps are not to edit anymore, I want to give all of you a warning.
What is your opinion about that? And I am not asking for answers like "Dude, you shouldn't have signed into facebook at the first place"
or "You're obviously a careless person doing things like that"
