Shift cancels Caps Lock

Post by roblevy »

Hi Linux Mint users,

in Ubuntu, as I understand it, there's an option in the keyboard layout settings like this:

Code: Select all

shift:breaks_caps Shift cancels Caps Lock

(see this posting on an Ubuntu forum for more info: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php? ... st12587011).

This option doesn't seem to be in the Linux Mint Keyboard Layout Options dialog. Does anyone know where I might find it? (Come to think of it, why should this dialog it be different from Ubuntu?)

Many thanks,
Rob

Wait! I've found it!

It's under "Miscellaneous compatibility options" (is this the right place for it?!?)
