I am using Centos as Server and Ubuntu 11.10 and Linux mint 13 as Cilents. I am in need of a package that to send a Popup alert message to all my LAN Clients in a group & by individual using IP address from Linux. Help me regarding this...

Try this:

$ smbclient -M  host.name
message goes here
Ctrl-D
It should work with IP address also.
