Where are saved PCmanFM credentials?

Post by SamuraiMark »

My Windows (AD) creds are getting locked out. It seems clear that this is being caused by old cached/saved credentials in PCmanFM.

I've tried clearing credentials from the Passwords and Keys app, and removed all SMB network bookmarks in PCmanFM. Still I get locked out shortly after I start browsing shares on our central Windows file server.

Any place else I should be looking?

Arch forums usually have good details on application packages, that may help..
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PCManFM
--ignore their package manager application: pacman

pcmanfm
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.ph ... 63.15.html
--ntfs permissions issue (root works, not user)

Also running from the terminal: what works what doesn't

--you could ignore most of this except for gvfs support, which for a Gnome system helps..

Gnome passwords and Gnome keyring..

--you could probably just remove it and reinstall the keyring, thereby killing the app association

Thanks for the help. As it turns out, it looks like this is somehow related to our recent DFS implementation. We moved a bunch of stuff to DFS and that is where I am having trouble. Non-DFS stuff, no problem. Explains why I can browse parts of the file server but not all of it (just the non-DFS stuff).
