BROTHER DCP7040 Already Install It But MINT 14 Dont Work

ya instale mi impresora BROTHER DCP7040 en Linux Mint pero aún no la reconoce el sistema y al tratar de configurarla en "configurar impresora" no aparece el controlador, pero en el Directorio /usr/local/ si aparece la carpeta "Brother" con los archivos, lo que significa que si se instaló, ¿como hago para imprimir?, !!!!!!!, porfavor realmente necesito ayuda, porque ya borre windows de mi computadora y solo quiero utilizar linux únicamente me falta configurar la impresora.

Try installing the drivers of the printer again.Doing this solves the problem in many cases.
