I just started using this software, I wrongly thought that it was fairly new, but a quick forum search shows me that people were talking about it a couple of years ago, so it shows you how out of touch I am
Anyhow, if like me, you haven't heard of it before now, it is well worth a look. It is basically unetbootin on steroids in that it produces a multiboot usb key with absolutely no fuss.
Great for trying out new iso's (they are easy to install, less than 5 minutes, and even quicker to remove again), or perfect for making that multi boot recovery cd you always wanted!
There is an install script for buntu based distros here: http://liveusb.info/dotclear/index.php?pages/install
The website is in French but there is a 'Translate' button at the top of the page.
