Hi,
I've been looking for a media (video, audio, images) client to use on Linux Mint 13 to render the content from MediaTomb (which is hosted on a different server at home)...something similar to how my WD TV Live Plus device accesses the MediaTomb content and streams videos/music and displays photos.
So, I looked at VLC, which I thought would be the obvious choice. Nope, since under Service Discovery there is no uPNP option, as others have suggested...
I tried eezUPnP but that seems to be only good for audio.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good way to access the UPnP content from my Linux Mint 13 system?
Thanks...

Re: UPnP media renderer in Linux Mint 13?
Hi, have you ever managed to solve this issue? I'm using Playstation Media Server trying to do something similar for my linux mint 13 and PS3 but i cant seem to discover where I can get the Upnp runnning through my linux firewall. I cant detect my PS3 with PMS.
