Wireless Network Not Accessible Under Mint

Post by stickler »

Thinking of giving Linux another try but had wireless issues last time i tried. was dual booting XP & Linux Mint 11, computer connected to wireless router by ethernet cable, all other devices connect wireless. When logged in under xp the network is fine but when I logged in on mint no body else can connect to the wireless network. the other devices are a mixture of OS including mac and android and all can access the network under xp but not mint. any help apreciated.

This is likely an issue with drivers for the wireless network. There has been a number of wireless nework interfaces without working drivers for Linux due to vendors not providing specs or drivers
