Hi, complete Linux noob here. Windows was having meltdowns left and right and I just needed a stable computer to use. So far, Linux has been great!
But what I do miss from windows is obviously, video games. I'm looking for step by step, noob friendly instructions for how to install Civilization 5 on Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon.

I would say just download the game from wherever and run the exe using wine program loader. Then it'll install it and you should be able to play it...but I don't have this game on my linux system so I'm not too sure..
I love this game though, I just won my first game ever after 484 turns on my laptop, and I have civ 2 on linux
