<SOLVED> How to choose autostart programs

Post by pfeiffep »

Hello all. I just installed Linux Mint Cinamon 32 bit :) .
I've performed all the apt-get routines, loaded preload, chromium, bleachbit, and viking; configured my network printer.
I am unable to find how to choose my hidden startup programs. :?:

Hardware:
Dell inspiron 6000
Intel Celeron 1.5 Ghz
2 Gb ram
Internal hdd 40 GB (Ubuntu 13.04)
USB hdd 40 GB (Linux Mint 14)

TIA
Pete

linux mint cinnamon:

menu-> preference-> Startup application

then add->
any name( application )
command: application name
-> ok

now you will see the list (alphabetic sorted order)

Code: Select all

sudo sed -i 's/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g' /etc/xdg/autostart/*.desktop
Did the trick
