Logitech M325 erratic movement, scrolling, clicking

Postby nicci on Tue Apr 30, 2013 3:25 pm

Hello,

I have a Logitech M325 Mouse with a unifying receiver. Actually I have two and they both do the same things. These things are:

    Erratic movement, scrolling.
    Erratic clicking
Scrolling of other windows without being over those windows

This happens with the "stock" kernels, and, with a well configured 3.8.8 kernel (why is Mint using unstable kernel releaes?)

This happens less with Fedora 18, but it's not entirely gone.

I have not found any tools that will set the sensitivty of the mouses buttons or scrollwheel. There *is* stuff out there that is quite old (back during the ott's)

Since this doesnt appear to be kernel related I am assuming this is, then, X server or WM related but I do not know what files and/or where to tweak.

Anyone with this mouse with similar issues? Anyone with ideas of what/where to tweak outside of some GUI''s that don't really address much in terms of real functionality?

Thanks,
Nicci
