We need to analyse what's going on when you shutdown.
Shutdown using this method:
1. Press <ctrl><alt><F1> to get to console #1.
2. Log in as yourself.
3. Type this:
- Code: Select all
sudo shutdown -h now
You will be asked for your password, so provide it. The shutdown procedure will commence and status messages will be written to the screen.
I need to know what the last messages written to the screen are before the machine hangs. Please post the results.
