I upgraded KDE to 3.5.9

...and it works like a charm!
Some more integration and a couple of extras - I recommend it!
I opened Adept and added this line under repos:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-kde-3.5.9/ubuntu
clicked "activate" and pressed full upgrade and BOOM KDE - 3.5.9 - me likes!
:!: :!: :!: Don't try this on a production machine though, in case anything goes wrong, it's always better to try out new things on a virtual machine first, it can save you a lot of pain! :)

It didn't kill any of the Mint goodies, it's all retained, just new stuff added to KDE - me likes! 8) :D

Well for starters all the KDE pim are even more tightly integrated, Konqueror is reconfigured in it's configuration a little bit.
