Cinnamon desklet settings do not open

Hey, I installed cinnamon 1.8 but activating desklets isn't possible because the desklet page isn't working, it is just blank.
I got this error in a terminal

I have a similar issue since installing Mint 15 RC.
Can't install desklets or applets.
Opening the respective settings window from the settings menu shows a blank window, opening it from the panel gives me an entry in the task-switcher in the panel, but no window at all.

Interestingly it works from a live session booting from usb drive.
I wonder if it might be due to a language setting? (german for me)

Might be possible, it's german for me, too.
Edit: Yes that's it, changed language back to English, no it works.

Ah, that's good to know.
Now the only remaining problem for me is that Mint 15 RC refuses to boot more than 3 times...

Reporting in with the same problem. Switching to English helps for now, but I could do with a fix.
