I am looking a this laptop http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np6350-cle ... -4897.html.
They also make a np6370 which is 17 inch.
My question is what does the Independent GPU button do?
Does it disable the gpu?
Does it disable the intel graphics?
What I hope it does is disable the gpu graphics so I can just run the Intel graphics.
Does anyone know if that is what it does?

Re: laptop shoping
Hi,Friends
I wanted to see if I could get some feedback from the forum as I am currently in the market for a laptop and I have a 1000$ budget.
I have a laptop in mind but wanted input from knowledgeable peers.
This is the laptop I am currently looking into. I want to be able to use if for light video and photo editing (as I do a majority of my rendering on my custom desktop) and for word/excel processing. However one of the more important factors for me is battery life (which is not listed) and life time relevance of a device.
