LM 13 has 3.2.0-23-generic #36-Ubuntu now (after update)
Ubuntu 12.04 has v.3.5 by now.
Why :?:

Kernel updates are considered "unstable" by Linux Mint, so these updates are hidden by default. You can enable level 4-5 updates in mintUpdate to show them, or use Synaptic to mark all updated packages.

Thank you abnvolk!
Since my mintUpdate doesn't offer updates any more, then I did some updates via apt-get update && upgrade. Now I understand that I did wrong.

How big the problem I have now, since I want to stay in "stable" kernels' zone?

I think it's all right :) I use Xubuntu with Cinnamon and kernel updates seem to do no harm to my computer. You can lock the kernel package in Synaptic, by choosing linux-generic and select Package -> Lock Version.

That 3.5 LTS kernel it's from the LTS Enablement Stacks: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack
