Idea for a new Linux Game

Post by Jessey Lawson »

Ok so if you read my other posts or forbid you actualy follow me on other forums and media you would know about my issues with EA. :D I do think that it is about time someone do something. I have little progr aming skill as of now, but I thought I could get this idea off my chest so that all of thee might get inspiration and might do something. So the Sims series is a hit, but we do not realy have any alternatives to it on Linux. So how about a game to counter it. In the Sims you conntrole humanoid creatures and you fulfil their needs or they will grow missable or possiblely die. You can build houses and create Sims and so much more. Whell instead of Sims you could have Disros of Linux and they would be similer to the Linux-tan thing, but each disro would be like its own race/speices of distro. For example if your charcater is a Male Ubuntu disro it would be more self centered then Suse. Also Disro would be used for the race and disro would be for idividuals. You would be able to name your disro and it's look would very depending on the version you pick and the choices you select in the Menu. For example if you disro is a version of Mint 11 it would look diffrent and have diffrent traits then Mint 15. Mint 11 would be more younge and childish while the 15 would be more mature and grown up and hot. Diffrent disros would have diffrent wants then others as each disro wants to do diffrent things and so does each relaease. Does this make sence to you still.

Now what could the purpose of the game be would depend on who makes it, if anyone does that is. XD I think it should be a life sim just like the Sims is, but it would have many aspects like the OS Tan. For example the pets you could have might be a Firefox and a Pigon and you could add more animals bassed off of OS maskots like the Windows butterfly. You could also do the same with clotehs. I personaly like the look of Ubuntu=tan so that might be a good style to start with. Then there is what disros need to live. One of their needs should be power as all programs need power to "live" I think. Oh and how about the Disros having Linux Torvards as their religous leader. Common we all know that he is alsome. Oh and disros would like to have fun too, but how is the question. Disros should be able to share their sources and create a baby disro and yes when a disro goes to the bathroom it could be called a data dump.

That game is broken as it does not show in the menu and there is no inforation about the game. It should be a GUI as this makes no sence.
