Sorry I do not really understand the question. If you have downloaded a distro iso then you need to use a cd or dvd burner to burn the image to a cd or dvd to enable you to load it.
Perhaps you could confirm that this is what you are trying to do.

In case anyone is still looking for a gui to mount your iso's...you can use
gisomount
or
gmountiso
both in synaptic
