I'd installed aMSN and followed the steps to install it but then it started the final installation and it said.
Checking for TCL Scripting Language ... failed
Error: Could not find 'TCL Scripting Language'. Try using the native package manager for Ubuntu 7.10 (apt-get) to install a package with similar name to 'tcl'.
Error: Unable to prepare package AMSN MSN client.
Can someone help me fix this, please?
Thanks

Re: aMSN Installation Problem
It seems that you have to install TCL
Open synaptic and search for tcl
(mark something and press t to find tcl faster - you get about 250 alternatives )
In this case you might need build essentials

Re: aMSN Installation Problem
It came up with a bunch of stuff when I searched TCL.. I'll mess around with it and see what happens.
Another problem now, when I type:
apt install build-essential
and I type in my password it says:
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
How or where do I see if it is running it?

Re: aMSN Installation Problem
Check again - you might have done it while mintUpdate was working
